The Melida/Daan system was a star system located in the Cadavine sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It contained the location Melida/Daan, which was inhabited by the Melida and Daan factions. Around 395 BBY, Senator Lexxir Greylark, his son Axel Greylark, and a Jedi Knight traveled to Melida/Daan on a diplomatic mission to negotiate the release of the Daan's leader, who had been captured by the Melida. During the mission, an explosion was set off by the Melida, injuring Axel and leading to the death of Lexxir.
