The Nefitifi system was a former binary star system in the galaxy. A few million years before the High Republic Era, one of the system's two stars exploded, becoming a large nebula which left trails of purple and blue gases between the system's planets. The nebula's mists made the Nefitifi system a popular location for smugglers to hide. During the High Republic Era, a Jedi Order strike force tracked members of the Nihil marauders to the system, engaging them in battle.
