Orinda system
Canon Legends version → Linked from 2 articles
The Orinda system was a star system in the Irishi sector of the Mid Rim Territories and the New Territories. It fell within grid square K-6 of the Standard Galactic Grid and was part of the Entralla Route, a hyperspace route that connected it to the Ord Mantell system and the Ardennia system.
The Orinda system contained the terrestrial planet Orinda, which, during the Imperial Era, was the site of a fueling depot raid by the rebel Cloud-Riders and the location of the Orinda Massacre, which involved the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing of the Galactic Empire. Orinda was later part of the New Republic and was represented in the New Republic Senate by Senator Fatil, but seceded to join the First Order in 29 ABY
