Sanity Skip

The Sanity Skip was a hyperspace route located in the Outer Rim Territories and the Slice. One terminus was the Kessel system in the Kessel sector within grid square T-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid. The other was the Oseon system in the Centrality, a sector in grid square T-8. The Kessel system acted as a junction from the Sanity Skip on to both the Channel, a part of the larger Kessel Run, and the Pabol Sleheyron trade routes. Another hyperspace route connected the Oseon system to the Junkfort Station system.

By 10 BBY, the pirate queen Maz Kanata marked the Sanity Skip as one of the "real" trade routes to be used by smugglers, as opposed to the official routes, on a map that she included in the book known as the Smuggler's Guide.
