The Shadda Nebula was situated in the Toblain sector of the Outer Rim Territories and the Trailing Sectors as part of grid square O-18 of the Standard Galactic Grid. It was formed out of the Shadda system—the site of the planet Shadda-Bi-Boran, the sun of which was dying by 39 BBY. In 9 ABY, the Shadda Nebula fell within the borders of the New Republic.
