The Teirasa system was located in the Iskin sector, a part of the Trailing Sectors portion of the Mid Rim. It was home to the sentient Teirasan species. During the Pius Dea Era, a period of time that lasted between approximately 12,000 BBY and 11,000 BBY, the star system was located outside the borders of the Galactic Republic. When the Republic launched the Twelfth Pius Dea Crusade against the Teirasans in 11,660 BBY, Republic forces advanced toward the Teirasa system from the Kalarba, Ord Dorlass, and Ord Zynthar systems.
