Ord Zynthar was a world located in the Ord Zynthar system. It was situated in the Lambda sector, a part of the Trailing Sectors portion of the Mid Rim.
Ord Zynthar served as an Ordnance/Regional Depot outpost for the Galactic Republic during the Pius Dea Era, a period of time that lasted between approximately 12,000 BBY and 11,000 BBY, despite it being located outside the borders of Republic space. When the Republic launched the Twelfth Pius Dea Crusade against the Teirasan and Zarracine species in 11,660 BBY, Republic forces moved from the Mon Gazza system in the Republic's territory to the Teirasa system via Ord Zynthar.
