142 BBY

142 BBY or 142 Before the Battle of Yavin, was a year in the 'ABY-BBY' dating system that was a part of the High Republic Era. By that year, Jedi Master Torbin had taken the Barash Vow and entered a silent state of meditation to atone for his role in an incident on the planet Brendok in 148 BBY. Ten years later, in 132 BBY, a Jedi Master told Jedi Master Sol, who had come to the Jedi temple on the planet Olega to speak with Torbin, that he had not spoken in over ten years.
