55 ABY or 55 After the Battle of Yavin was a year of the Galactic Standard Calendar. That year, Lenang O'Pali–authored work Mitth'raw'nuruodo Reconsidered: A Patriot's Perspective was published. It discussed the historical role of the Chiss Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo "Thrawn" of the Galactic Empire, who was defeated and killed in 9 ABY. The work covered Thrawn's ascension to power with a view supportive of his and Emperor Palpatine's actions and critical of the New Republic and its heroes.
