Ancathian funge-flowers were a type of plant. They shared their name with the Ancathia system.
They communicated by the means of sound frequencies, and at least one of them was related to their reproduction. A being who knew and could mimic the frequency, could trigger some behavior from these flowers, such as spewing pollen.
Humans were particularly susceptible to the funge-flower's pollen and could be stunned when found amidst a cloud of it.
At least a bed of Ancanthian funge-flowers was found in the Alderaan consular gardens.
