The Alderaan consular gardens were gardens attached to the Alderaan consulate on the planet Coruscant.
They contained beds of Ancathian funge-flowers.
Shortly before the Battle of Yavin, they were tended by Master Gardener Spero.
Senator Leia Organa was a Rebel sympathizer and allowed Rebel operatives to use the garden as a meeting place; however they used the main planter as a drop point without her approval. The Alderaan consulate chief hid a datacard in the main planter, which put Spero in trouble.
