Billian tree

Billian trees were a type of tree that could be found on the Core Worlds planet Coruscant. The plants featured flutestems, which whistled in the world's wind when breezy. By the time of the High Republic Era, a grove of the trees grew in the greenspace of the world's Monument Plaza, which was located near the Umate mountain peak. In 232 BBY, Republic Supreme Chancellor Lina Soh visited Monument Plaza with her retinue and followed a path curving around a grove of billian trees, noticing their flutestems whistling in the wind.
