Blood syrup

Blood syrup was a type of heavy and sweet syrup. Around 146 BBY, the Devaronian chef Sama Macoy served a double toasted seallia sandwich with blood syrup to the head chef at Takodana Castle on the planet Takodana, the Artiodac Strono Tuggs, also known by the nickname "Cookie."

Macoy prepared this blood syrup-topped dish while competing with three other members of the castle's kitchen staff in an attempt to become Tuggs' newest sous-chef following the murder of the previous one, the Volpai Robbs Ely, though unbeknownst to her, the competition was secretly an attempt by the head chef to identify Ely's killer.
