Chammian ivory

Chammian ivory was a type of ivory from the Core Worlds' Chamm system. At one point, a wall chronometer was made from Chammian ivory, and at some point by 22 BBY, when the timepiece was an antique, it ended up in the possession of the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure, who displayed it in the throne room of his palace on the Outer Rim Territories planet Tatooine. Jabba, however, could not recall whether he had obtained the chronometer by way of a gambling debt being settled with him or from a smuggler who had failed to deliver a contract on time and had only been given a beating instead of being killed.
