Chief Scientist was a title held by the Kaminoan scientist Ko Sai during the production of clones on Kamino for the Galactic Republic. During or after 18 BBY, the title was also used by Doctor Royce Hemlock as he led the Advanced Science Division in pursuing the cloning program under the Galactic Empire. Nala Se also served as a Chief Scientist under Hemlock, and was later supplanted by Doctor Emerie Karr.
