Emerie Karr

Emerie Karr was a human female clone created from the genetic template of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett. At some point, Karr was transported off the planet Kamino as she was needed elsewhere. Eventually, Doctor Royce Hemlock took her under his wing. He brought her to Mount Tantiss, where she worked as a scientist and doctor. In Tantiss, Karr assisted Hemlock and Dr. Scalder in the daily operations of the facility.

Following Lieutenant Nolan's death at the hands of Crosshair, Karr supervised the clone's medical treatment. When the enhanced female clone Omega was captured and brought to Mount Tantiss by Hemlock, Karr informed her that Crosshair was still alive and recuperating along with the other rogue clones. Omega was distrustful towards her until Karr revealed that she was her sister. Omega began working with Karr for multiple weeks. During this time, everything became routine for Karr, who took Omega's blood sample daily and instructed Omega to carry a tray of samples, including her own, for testing by Nala Se. Eventually, Hemlock informed Karr that an unscheduled guest was reported to be arriving at Tantiss. Karr and Omega learned it was Emperor Palpatine. Omega used the opportunity to escape Tantiss along with Crosshair, despite Karr's warnings of the dangers in the forests surrounding Tantiss Base. Meanwhile, Karr reported to Hemlock that Omega's blood had a favorable M-Count replication when combined with the specimen in the vault. In response, Hemlock ordered his troops to stand down, allowing Crosshair and Omega to jump into hyperspace.

Soon after Crosshair and Omega's escape, Karr replaced Nala Se as the Chief Scientist on Tantiss. In her new role, Hemlock brought her to the vault. There, Karr discovered her job was to work with a few "specimens" whom she discovered to be Force-sensitive children, much to her disgust. Hemlock instructed her to only refer to the specimens by their numbers. Karr spoke to Nala Se who informed her that she was now powerless, and it was up to Karr to protect the children and Omega. Karr went to Coruscant alongside Clone Commander Scorch to acquire the most recently apprehended child. After Hemlock's forces recaptured Omega, Karr reconfirmed her M-Count was favorable with the specimens. In the vault, one of the children held a straw tooka and told Omega that Karr was the only nice one in the facility.

After the Bad Batch infiltrated Wayland, Karr went to the central lab. She discovered Echo had snuck into the base disguised as a TK stormtrooper and determined it had to be him after noticing his stolen droid hand. Echo asked her how she could go along with Hemlock's experiments and Karr told him she was just doing her job. Karr told Echo she could get him into the vault, but he had to trust her. They entered the vault only to discover that Omega and the other children had escaped. Hemlock ordered Karr to find Omega as their fates were then linked together. Karr and Echo caught up to the children at the transport hangar. Echo instructed Karr to bring them to rendezvous coordinates and he'd meet her there after he rescued Omega and the rest of the Bad Batch. Karr followed Echo's instructions and flew the shuttle to the planet of Pabu.

After the escape from Tantiss, Karr spoke with Echo on the island of Pabu, where Echo invited her to accompany him to Pantora, as Senator Riyo Chuchi was interested in hearing about Karr's experiences. Eager to make up for her past misdeeds, she joined the ranks of the Clone Underground and departed Pabu with Echo on the Remora.
