The dewdrop tree was native to the marshy Agrilat Region on the Core Worlds planet Corellia. Like most plants in the region, the tree was a crystal plant, meaning that it was composed of a mixture of dense, hard silica and organic materials, and therefore had a crystalline appearance. Dewdrop trees bore delicious fruits which were the size of a fist and had the appearance of large rubies and emeralds.
