Director General was a title used by Oviedo Engineering, a corporation that manufactured military equipment. Around 21 BBY, Lorca Oviedo, the director of Oviedo Engineering and a member of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, held the title. After Galactic Republic clone commandos discovered Oviedo's allegiance to the Confederacy on the Expansion Region moon Asturias, they brought him to the Republic's Core Worlds capital planet Coruscant for questioning, where he died of respiratory failure.
