Ebonwood

Ebonwood was a type of black wood with a variant known as greel ebonwood. Following the death of Darth Vader at the Battle of Endor during the Galactic Civil War, some Imperial Starfighter Pilots carried ebonwood replicas of the Sith Lord's lightsaber to honor his skill as a duelist and pilot. During the First Order-Resistance War, First Order Allegiant General Enric Pryde carried a swaggerstick made from lacquered ebonwood, the design being from military riding traditions on Pryde's homeworld of Alsakan. In addition, the Rebel Alliance veteran Lando Calrissian owned a lacquered greel ebonwood cane during that time. A book describing objects relating to galactic history included an entry on the cane, elaborating on the materials it was crafted from, including greel ebonwood.
