Flare Two was the callsign assigned to the second pilot of the New Republic's Flare Squadron. During the Galactic Civil War, an X-wing starfighter pilot was designated this callsign during the Battle of Jakku, where the squadron's X-wings were tasked with covering the bombers during their bombing runs on the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing's flagship, Yadeez.
