The greater cake tree was a species of tree that existed on the Outer Rim Territories planet Saleucami. The tree was named after cake because, like many cakes, it was layered, with each layer smaller than the other. Between the layers, red fruit and herby green leaves grew and could be used as ingredients in food. The species was extremely tall and appeared very thick, covering the surface of Saleucami. Flocks of starklebirds took shelter in these trees.
