Hai-ka flowers were a type of flower that was used in the funerary traditions of the Outer Rim planet Akiva. The flowers were similar to a firebird's tail feathers, both in softness and color. In 5 ABY, garlands of the flowers were given out at the funeral of the Akivan Brentin Lore Wexley, including to his son, the New Republic operative Temmin Wexley.
