Kand tree

The kand tree was a type of fruit-bearing tree grown in the orchard of a Kel Dor on the Expansion Region planet Dorin, a world with a helium-rich atmosphere. The orchard owner provided zand nuts and some of the fruit from his kand trees to the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs during a culinary tour of the galaxy that Tuggs took between 34 ABY and 35 ABY. The Artiodac then used the fruit and nuts to make a fragrant bread known as Kand and Zand Rolls that he included the recipe for in his third cookbook, The Ultimate Cookbook, which was published in 35 ABY.
