Laminasteel, also spelled as Lamina Steel, was a greenish-colored alloy that could be used in lightsaber construction. In 14 BBY, the fugitive Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis acquired enough lamina steel to fashion a lightsaber hilt. Geonosian hive spires were constructed from solidified rock paste strengthened with a laminasteel framework.
