Mandaba

Mandaba was a language characterized by the use of clicks and whistles. The Selonian technician Heezo sometimes murmured to droids in Mandaba as he repaired them. He apologized for and explained as much to the Jedi Knight Iskat Akaris when they first met in 22 BBY in a Jedi Temple garden on the planet Coruscant. Akaris commented that it did not bother her and that it was an interesting language. She was impressed that he was not afraid to speak his own language in front of her and to an inanimate object. Less than a week later, Akaris witnessed Heezo murmuring to a mouse droid in Mandaba after she returned to Coruscant from a mission to the planet Thule.
