Mangle tree

The mangle tree was a massive tree species found on the Hutt Space planet Vodran. The trees were the planet's primary flora, and grew to nearly 200 meters in height, rivaling some of the Mid Rim planet Kashyyyk's wroshyr trees in size. With the appearance of a massive knot of tentacles, mangle trees rose out of the waters of Vodran's swamps and bayous on piles of aerial prop roots.

Multiple cities and settlements were built within the branches of Vodran's mangle trees. The trees' lower branches were also used by the planet's hunters, who waited for dianogas—a massive species of cephalopod native to Vodran—to pop their eyestalks above the water's surface before shooting them with a Vodran hunting rifle.
