Mist-bond

The mist-bond was an ability used by the scientifically-augmented Child of the Storm, Brother Rrkak. The mist-bond was produced by Rrkak's fingers as supposedly unbreakable cords which could be used to bind an adversary. It shares a name with the Mist, a term used by Rrkak to describe the Force.

In 228 BBY, when former Trandoshan Jedi Master Sskeer, Sephi guru Tey Sirrek and former Nihil Tempest Runner Lourna Dee infiltrated Shingcu Station, secret laboratory facility of the Nihil's Ithorian Minister of Advancement and dark scientist Baron Boolan, the Ithorian ordered Rrkak and Sister H'Tar to subdue the intruders. Following an explosion in the space station, Rrkak used the mist-bond to subdue Sskeer and Sirrek.

Though Rrkak thought the mist-bond to be unbreakable, Sskeer's Trandoshan strength in the face of his pure rage was sufficient to overcome the tensile strength of the power.
