Night-flower

A night-flower, also known as night flower, was a type of flower that could close itself at dawn. They could be found in a forest on the planet Siline.

The Lucem former Jedi Padawan Ruu began to close himself up in order to deal with the grief of the death of his Jedi Master, Conithr, between 230 BBY and 229 BBY. In 229 BBY, after destroying a Nihil pirates' factory on the Core Worlds planet Corellia, Ruu mentally reflected on how much harder it had become to let the comforting numbness of the Force envelop him. He likened his emotional withdrawal to a night-flower closing at dawn—a once-familiar act that now felt increasingly difficult. In 134 BBY, while in a forest on Siline, the human Jedi Padawan Yord Fandar smelled night flowers, which he considered sweet.
