Quartz, also called quartz crystal, was a form of mineral. During the High Republic Era, the San Tekka compound in the Lake Country of Naboo had a low table made of quartz at a seating area in its lanai. Thane Kyrell once compared Grand Moff Tarkin's face, with its hard, pale lines, to a quartz crystal.
