Sage was a type of desert vegetation that could be found on the planet Tatooine, where it was eaten by reptilian dewbacks. One variety was desert sage, which the mother of the Jawa Jot used alongside funnel flowers to make a crown for a krayt dragon skeleton on Tatooine by 1 BBY. Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts Director of Creature Cartography Ardis San Tekka mentioned sage when writing about dewbacks in her journal at some point after the Battle of Exegol in 35 ABY.
