Stratt stew

Stratt stew was a type of stew made from stratt. Around 232 BBY, the grandmother of the Gotal thief Nittel Karkson was preparing stratt stew on Solstice Tide in the hovel that her and Karkson inhabited in the under levels of the planet Coruscant. The broth was bubbling on a stove when Karkson returned home to the hovel, and when the Jedi Master Stellan Gios arrived after the thief, Karkson threw the dented ladle from the broth at Gios, who used the Force to stop it in mid air. After Gios showed he was not there to arrest Karkson and gave his cloak to Karkson's grandmother, the young Gotal invited Gios to share the stew with them, although it admitted it could not compare to a proper Solstice Tide feast. Gios accepted the invitation and invited the pair to return with him to the Jedi Temple for a good night's sleep after the meal.
