Unidentified cheese

A dark cheese blend was edible to members of the Chiss species. It was a favorite food of Senior Captain Xodlak'in'daro, also known by her core name "Lakinda," of the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet. Lakinda kept a private stockpile of the cheese aboard her Chiss heavy cruiser Grayshrike.

Around 18 BBY, Chiss Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo "Thrawn" had been sent to the planet Rapacc, and Admiral Ar'alani dispatched Lakinda to the Rapacc system to deliver a message to Thrawn. Lakinda attempted to bribe the Grayshrike young sky-walker navigator Bet'nih with a bar of the cheese to induce the girl to navigate faster. Bet'nih enjoyed the cheese, but Lakinda's bribery did not expedite their hyperspace journey.
