A crimson red chemical was used in 40 BBY by Pijali blackguard soldiers—who were secretly operating under Princess Fanry—to turn the atmosphere of the moon of the Inner Rim planet Pijal red. Royal guard captain Deren later gave a copy of the holographic recording of the incident to Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, while the Jedi were investigating the recent upheavals in the Pijal system.
