Waterweed

Waterweed was a plant grown on the agriworld Hetzal Prime, an Outer Rim planet, cultivated in the world's rivers and lakes alongside algae. In 232 BBY, the Hetzal system's minister—Zeffren Ecka—stared out the window of his office and thought about Hetzal Prime's proclivity to use all available space to grow and cultivate, including the waterweed and algae grown on the planet.
