The stingers of queens from the Yalbec species were considered delicacies on several planets. During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the clone trooper Wrecker cut off the stinger of a Yalbec queen on Yalbec Prime while he was there as part of the elite Republic squad Clone Force 99 putting down an insurrection. Wrecker's squadmate Tech later informed Clone Force 99 and several other clones of the fact that stingers were considered delicacies.
