Twin Crossroads

Twin Crossroads is an upcoming canon adult novel that will be written by Beth Revis and published in hardcover by Random House Worlds on April 6, 2027. It was first listed on the Penguin Random House website on July 18, 2026 and was officially announced at the Random House Worlds panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 24, 2026. It will follow Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa as they find out more about their parents after the events of Return of the Jedi on Coruscant.

Twin Crossroads picks up right after the events of Beth Revis's prior novel The Princess and the Scoundrel, and will bridge the gap between Leia and Han Solo's wedding and Leia's abandoning of her Jedi training as seen in The Rise of Skywalker. The story of Twin Crossroads was one that has been in the works at Random House for quite some time, and was originally titled Legacy before it was decided that the title better fit Madeleine Roux's novel about Leia and Rey. The events of Legacy have significant roots in the events of Twin Crossroads, though Roux was unaware of the other novel's existence while she finished Legacy.
