92nd Coruscant Engineers

The 92nd Coruscant Engineers were a military unit. One of the unit's squads accidentally received a shipment of LJ-50 concussion rifles. The squad's armorer saw the potential for the blaster rifles to be effective at breaching walls and scattering enemy troopers and stripped them down into blaster carbines.

The weapons were undeniably effective and impressed the squad's superior officer. Word then reached Arakyd Industries, who began manufacturing the carbines as LJ-40 concussion carbines alongside the LJ-50s.
