The Biskaran Pirates originated in the Inner Rim's Biskar system. At some point by 35 BBY, they launched the siege of Niele. That year, a Galactic Republic Judicial Forces fleet led by the Judicial officer Terrinald Screed broke the siege, although in the process he lost an eye to a Biskaran pirate armed with a vibro-ax.
