Borstel Galactic Defense, also known simply as Borstel, was a company who produced the NNJ-40 "Thunderbolt" long-range ion cannon used on RX-200 Falchion-class assault tanks of the Galactic Republic and also produced the NK-7 ion cannons used in the armaments of the Galactic Empire's Imperial I-class Star Destroyers. They also made the RG-9 laser cannons on the RZ-1 A-wing interceptor.
