Clone scout troopers, also known as swamp scouts, and as Kashyyyk troopers during the Battle of Kashyyyk, were clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic that specialized in reconnaissance and infiltrating enemy positions during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Following the execution of Order 66 by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, clone scout troopers participated in the Great Jedi Purge and later served under the Galactic Empire.
