Escarte Guard
Canon Legends version → Linked from 3 articles
The Escarte Guard was an elite security force from Escarte, a world in the Escarte system within the Keldrath sector of the Outer Rim Territories. Escarte was a major stronghold of the Commerce Guild, and as a result the Escarte Guard was part of the Punitive Security Forces. They offered bodyguard-based protection to the corporation's important individuals. After the Clone Wars began, fought from 22 BBY to 19 BBY, the Commerce Guild sided with the Confederacy of Independent Systems against the Galactic Republic and provided their military forces, incorporating the Escarte Guard into the Separatist Droid Army.
