Finance Committee

The Finance Committee was a committee in the Galactic Senate that related to the Galactic Republic's budgetary and financial matters. Several subcommittees were placed under the Finance Committee which were concerned with matters such as revenue generation, government grant approvals, annual budgets, and emergency relief fund appropriations. Despite his corrupt reputation, Twi'lek Senator Orn Free Taa of the planet Ryloth was a member of the Finance Committee and chaired several of its subcommittees. Another finance-focused committee under the Senate was the Senate Budgetary Committee.
