First Order Special Forces TIE fighter pilots, also called First Order SF TIE Pilots, or simply Special Forces pilots, were elite pilots that served in the First Order Special Forces branch. They utilized specialized TIE/sf space superiority fighters during combat. Along with elite starfighter training, like other troopers, they were also heavily trained in blasters and marksmanship.

Special Forces pilots wore a similar uniform to their regular pilot counterparts, consisting of a black jumpsuit with a chestplate with life support gear, pauldrons on the shoulders, gauntlets, a utility belt, boots, and a helmet. Special Forces pilots could be distinguished by the two red vertical stripes on their helmets. Pilots were typically issued with a SE-44C blaster pistol, which could be carried in a holster on their belt when not in use.
