Green Squadron was the designation of a New Republic starfighter squadron, which was also known as Green Squad or Green Team. The squadron participated in the Battle of Ession, at which time it was a bomber unit composed of BTL Y-wing starfighter pilots. As a mixed unit flying Y-wings, T-65 X-wing starfighters, and A/SF-01 B-wing starfighters, Green Squadron later fought in the Battle of Calamari.
