IG-series battle droid army

The IG-series battle droid army was the private army maintained by the InterGalactic Banking Clan as part of the InterGalactic Banking Clan Collections and Security Division in order to protect its foreclosed assets. It was under the direction of the Muun officer corps and was made up of IG-86 sentinel droids and IG-227 Hailfire-class droid tanks, which were later used in the Droid Army of the Separatist Alliance. They were deployed against Galactic Republic forces at the Battle of Abrion Bridge to great effect, inflicting heavy casualties against Republic soldiers from the 212th Attack Battalion, 442nd Siege Battalion, and the Roon's military defense forces. Despite these heavy losses, the Republic was able to achieve victory over the IG-series army, though Republic Commander Mekedrix would become mentally hollow after the battle, eventually causing him to desert the Republic and form a rogue execution squad called Death Wind.
