Muun officer corps

The Muun officer corps was a military organization fielded by the Muun-led InterGalactic Banking Clan. To protect their foreclosed assets, the officer corps directed the Collections and Security Division's army of IG-series battle droids, mounted cavalry units used for scouting missions, and IG-227 Hailfire-class droid tanks that provided armored support. The Muuns were considered cowardly and would never go into combat zones themselves. When the Clone Wars had struck, fought from 22 BBY to 19 BBY, the Muun officer corps sided with the Confederacy of Independent Systems as part of their ground forces, in their efforts against the Galactic Republic.

They were not commonly seen in the Confederacy military around the start of the war. However, over time the Separatist Senate convinced many to join the officer corps and other corporate security forces, and by the Outer Rim Sieges were more often seen in combat. In 19 BBY, the Muun officer corps were mentioned by Clone Commander Verd in an intelligence report about the IG-227, as well as a later report on the Collections and Security Division by ARC trooper Muzzle, which were both collected in expansions to the guide "Neyo's Almanac of Clankers."
