The Imperial Elite Guard were elite highly-trained soldiers assigned by the revived Imperial Remnant as a protective detail for both the Imperial Head of State and important government officials as personal bodyguards. Due to their unique status within the revitalized Imperial Army, the soldiers of the Guard were distinguished from the rest of their fellow shock troopers in the re-established Stormtrooper Corps by gray stripes on the shoulder pads of their armor.
