Iron Squadron

Iron Squadron was an independent rebel cell that consisted of a squadron based around a YT-2400 light freighter known as the Sato's Hammer during the Imperial Era. There were two iterations of the squadron. The first, led by Sato, harassed Imperial targets around the planet Mykapo. During a mission where he was forced to rescue his son Mart Mattin, he was killed and the squadron disbanded. The second iteration was re-established two years before the Battle of Yavin. The cell was led by Mattin, who inherited the position from his father. In 2 BBY, Iron Squadron joined Phoenix Cell after the Galactic Empire imposed martial law on Mykapo.
