Jedi mystic

Jedi mystic was a term used to refer to members of the ancient Jedi Order who made prophecies based on visions granted to them via the Force.

By approximately 40 BBY, the practice had long fallen out of favor with most Jedi, who felt that anticipating the future in such a manner was potentially a path to the dark side of the Force. There were some, however, who took an interest in the prophecies. These included the Jedi Master Dooku and his students, Rael Averross and Qui-Gon Jinn.
