JM-909's squad

In 1 BBY, a squad of at least twelve Imperial stormtroopers were deployed on the planet Tatooine. Given orders by a commander and led by JM-909 and another unit leader, the squad at one point put down a dewback mount they considered "spent," though they still had at least three available. Six members of the squad were killed by a band of Tusken Raiders. JM-909 was the sole survivor of the incident and was found and nursed back to health by the hermit and Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. After returning to the commander, JM-909 was berated and told to clean himself up.
